Editorial policy
Modern Sports Journal aims to make sporting subjects clear, accurate and worth a reader's time. We check factual statements carefully, explain uncertainty where it matters and correct errors when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and corrections
Writers should use reliable material suited to the subject and check names, terms and descriptions before publication. If a reader spots a possible error, they can send the relevant passage and suggested correction through the Contact page. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted; significant changes should be made clear to readers.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the usefulness and clarity of the subject, not to disguise a commercial message. Where a material connection could affect how readers understand a piece, it should be disclosed plainly.
Partner and sponsored material
Paid placements and partner content are labelled so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial coverage. A placement does not imply that the Journal endorses every claim, product or service it mentions.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. When an image could be mistaken for a documentary photograph or an actual sporting scene, we identify it as an illustration rather than evidence of an event.
